I know you’ve seen it… but watch it again. The Prometheus commercial promoting David the Android. I don’t know about you, but I could use an assistant like this.
THE WOLVERINE: MORE BAD ASSERY!
Slated to begin production in August, FOX is claiming this to be “the true berserker, bad ass Wolverine!”
Directed by James Mangold (3:10 to Yuma – which was awesome), Wolverine will shoot in Australia and Japan, and is likely to be PG-13, unless there is a convincing reason to move to and R. I personally vote for R – but then again PG-13 movies have a wider audience.
What do you want to see… a harder more violent Wolverine? Or a tamed down PG-13 version?

BATTLE OF THE BATTLESHIPS
Avengers is still going strong at the box office, and projections have targeted over $60 million for it’s 3rd weekend, while Battleship is expected to pull in only $35M, costing over $200M before marketing.
Universal is currently suing the masters of the mockbuster, The Asylum, over their homage “American Battleship.” Ironically, the film is set to air on Universal owned SyFy this month. A quick trip to the Asylum website reveals the film has been changed to American Warships.

TOM CRUISE SINGS: POUR SOME SUGAR ON ME
You won’t believe your ears. Yes it’s true, Tom Cruise sings a cover of the Def Leppard 80’s hit Pour Some Sugar On Me. It’s not half bad.
Part of the upcoming musical Rock of Ages hitting theaters next month, which also stars Alec Baldwin, Paul Giamatti and Bryan Cranston. This could be awesome, or a train wreck. Either way, I’m sure it’s worth watching.

We’re huge fans of the original Die Hard… it’s one of the best action films ever – I mean seriously, Alan Rickman’s Hans Gruber is one of the great movie villains of all time. So, it’s nice to hear 20th Century Fox CEO Tom Rothman say this is “classic, classic Die Hard,” according to Collider.
Written by Skip Woods, and directed by John Moore, A Good Day to Die Hard has a valentines day release date in 2013.
Bruce Willis is back as John McClain to take on Russian villains in the form of German actor Sebastian Koch, Russian model Yuliya Snigir and 2 Fast 2 Furious‘ Cole Hauser!
