Yes, that’s right, Ridley Scott’s sci-fi epic Prometheus has been reconstructed out of paper for this version of the trailer. Check it out.
HARRISON FORD BACK FOR BLADE RUNNER?
Ridley Scott says it may be so! The original writer, Hampton Fancher, is back, and according to The Playlist, this version will be a sequel. Harrison, won’t be starring, but he’s gotta have an appearance. How can you not have him in it at least somewhere?
I’ve been a huge Blade Runner fan for years, and have caught numerous midnight screenings in 70mm… it’s an experience. But the anniversary edition Bluray and the FINAL CUT, is my favorite of them all. It’s a pristine transfer, and the most compelling cut of the story.
ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER
Here’s the red-band trailer for Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. It’s age restricted… after watching it, I’m not really sure why. But I have to ask this question… would this film be more interesting in Abe wasn’t the title character?
But then again, how do you sell a period piece vampire slayer movie that’s not an established legend like Van Helsing? You turn the former president into a ruthless vampire killer.
It seems the Asylum has already jumped on board with Abraham Lincoln Vs. Zombies, set to hit streets May 29th.
As fun as all this sounds, I can’t help but think that Bill Clinton vs. Bikini Vampire Zombies would be even more entertaining. Ah, wishful thinking…
ANOTHER PROMETHEUS CLIP: WATCH AT YOUR OWN RISK
www.PrometheusForum.net by PrometheusForum
If you missed the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, here’s another Prometheus clip that was aired. I’m not going to watch this clip… I’m going to save it for the theater. I want the experience to be completely unspoiled.
I hate when you run into a someone who’s already seen a movie you haven’t… and they blather on about all of the plot points and the end, even though you told them at the front of the conversation that you hadn’t seen it and don’t want to hear any details. What’s wrong with those people?
So, watch this clip at your own risk.

GARY OLDMAN JOINS ROBOCOP CAST
This is starting to get interesting… Gary Oldman joins the Robocop cast as Norton (the scientist responsible for Robocop).
Oldman is also in line to reprise his role as Commissioner Gordon in the Dark Knight Rises. The actor is definitely on a role, and has acquired the title of top-grossing actor of all time, with such notable series such as Harry Potter and Batman to his credit.
I remember watching and interview with Oldman over a decade ago, where he mentioned that because of his character acting nature, Hollywood wasn’t quite sure what to do with him. Looks like they figured it out.

This is John Carpenters anti-consumerism masterpiece, that is just as relevant today as it was when it was released.
Both Rowdy Roddy Piper and Keith David were at Texas Frightmare Weekend this year, and I’ve got to say, they were the coolest cats around. Check out this epic fight scene:

Lola hosts her own torture prom, after spurned by the object of her desire, Brent. I’ll bet Brent wishes he would have said yes when Lola asked him to the Prom. Puppy love gone horribly wrong, in this violent, horror/thriller.
There are a few tickets left, so hurry before they sell out.
ANCHORMAN 2: TRIALER
Ron Burgundy is back! Check out the exclusive Anchorman 2 Trailer.
Will Farrell and crew return, directed by Adam McKay and produced by Judd Apatow. Production is scheduled to begin early 2013 with a 2013 release date. No plot details yet, as a script is not complete yet – but we’re pretty sure it’s doesn’t involve a giant alien battleship.
TOM CRUISE TO STAR IN MAGNIFICENT SEVEN REMAKE
Tom Cruise will star in the MGM remake of the Magnificent Seven. No director is onboard yet, so there is still time to lobby the studio for that directing job.
Cruise says it won’t happen for quite some time yet, and his plate seems pretty full. Rock of Ages, Oblivion, All You Need is Kill, Van Helsing, and Paramount is after him for Top Gun 2.
MGM is currently busy with their RoboCop remake as well as Carrie later this year. It seems this is comfortable territory for MGM, as they have been primarily engaged in remakes lately. In today’s marketplace, studios are looking for properties with built in audiences.
Based on Akira Kurosawa’s 1954 classic Seven Samurai, the Magnificent Seven centers around a group of gunman hired to protect a Mexican village from bandits.
