Shelby Carter is the perfect combination of beauty and brains. Not only is she a model, but a photographer, wardrobe stylist, makeup artist, and she’s certainly responsible for some accelerated heart rates.
We recently had the pleasure of chatting with Shelby, and I think you’ll agree, she’s hotter than Texas in the summer:
You wear a lot of hats, as do most in the entertainment industry – what are you most passionate about, modeling or photography?
Well, modeling, of course. But I really just love creating beautiful images and inspiring those around me.
What is your definition of success?
I think everyone’s definition of success is different. Mine is more of an internal success. I want to be famous, but I want to do it in my way. I want to be famous for my talent, and skill, and beauty – not by how many people I’ve screwed or screwed over. I will only be happy if I can do that. My dream gig would be to appear on the cover of French or Italian Vogue.
Who’s your role model?
Marilyn Monroe, I love her!
Have you done any acting?
I haven’t done any major acting gigs, just small theater performances. But I would love to act, and be and actress. I view modeling as a form of acting.
Do you have any advice for aspiring models?
Network your butt off! Modeling is 20% shoots, and 80% networking. It’s not easy. Don’t sell yourself out. And if you aren’t serious about being a model, don’t do it.
Thanks Shelby!
